-
Inspire To Change also delivers the Level Up programme, for young people aged 11 to 15 years, presenting harmful behaviours to their family members or intimate partners.

National Centre for Domestic Violence
Free quick helpline for those in need of legal intervention
NCDV is a Community Interest Company that provides free fast legal support to those suffering domestic abuse who require a protective order. The service is available to everybody, irrespective of financial circumstances, sexual orientation, race or gender. We specialise in Non-molestation Orders, Occupation Orders and Prohibited Steps Orders can be obtained as additional orders. These are usually obtained from the Family or County Courts under Civil Law.
Non-Molestation Orders stops violence, harassment, threats and intimidation. It prohibits the perpetrator from contacting the person, turning up at their home, place of work, college, etc. wherever is relevant to that person’s case/situation. The order usually lasts for about six months to a year (but can be longer) and carries an automatic power of arrest if breached, it is a criminal offence to breach a non-molestation order.
An Occupation Order is an order issued by the court that decides who has the right to live in (or be excluded from) a family home. This is used, usually, on a short term basis and usually lasts six months.
A Prohibited Steps Order prohibits the removal of the child or children from a parents care, change of name, removal from school, taking abroad, etc.
We can assist the person to obtain an order via Legal Aid using our panel solicitors based across England or provide support for the person to self-represent (known as being a Litigant in Person). We do not charge for our service.
